The Cayuga Lake Association for Weed Control, CLAWC, will hold its first meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Seneca Falls Library. CLAWC was formed in October to address the problematic weeds in Cayuga County.
Monthly meetings will be held on the first Thursday of the month.
Sharon Anderson, formerly Watershed Steward for the Cayuga Lake Watershed Network, and currently
Team Coordinator on Environmental Issues for Cornell Cooperative Extension, will speak to CLAWC about
a weed management brochure she is working on. CLAWC invites all citizens interested in use of the north end of Cayuga Lake, in the quality of our local environment and in the growth of tourism in our two counties, to attend this meeting.
For more information, contact Judy Pipher at 568-9597 (home) and 585-275-4402 (work) or at
