Sheriff's office looking for ax-threatening suspect in Sterling case
The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office has issued an arrest warrant for the man they believe threatened a Sterling resident before severely damaging his truck with an ax on Saturday, deputies said.
Deputies said they are looking for Kelly R. Byrne, 34, with a last known address of 13885 Humphrey Road, Sterling.
Byrne is wanted on two felony charges, criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal mischief; and two misdemeanors, menacing in the second degree and criminal trespass in the third-degree.
