The Auburn Police Department has arrested an Auburn woman on charges that she stabbed her husband during a domestic dispute in their city residence.
Kathryn E. Conley, 25, of 213 Janet St., is facing a second-degree assault charge, a felony.
Police said Conley stabbed the victim in the left side torso after a heated dispute. The victim had arrived at Auburn Memorial Hospital early Saturday morning for treatment, and had originally said a friend had accidentally stabbed him.
The victim was later transferred to University Hospital in Syracuse for further treatment, but his injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
Conley has been arraigned in Auburn City Court and remanded to Cayuga County Jail without bail.
