What have we lost that John McCain's efforts to become our president means that he thinks he has to use “red meat politics?” The politics of personal destruction can only come back to haunt him.
Does no one recall Dr. King's words about being “judged not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character?” It seems to me that Mr. McCain might soon realize that it is not his opponent's character that is in question - but his own.
It is a sad day in America. Our economy is “in the tank” due to eight years of greed and de-regulation and now Mr. McCain stokes the venom of hatred.
I am sure I am not the first to think of Proverbs: “He that troubles his own house shall inherit the wind.”
