The deadline is approaching for three Auburn Civil Service Commission examinations, the commission announced Monday.
Anyone interested in applying to an assistant engineer, junior engineer or planner position must file an application by Nov. 5. The exam for all three positions will take place Dec. 6.
Applications can be picked up from the Civil Service office at Memorial City Hall, 24 South St.
The office is open until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Applications are also available online at http://ci.auburn.ny.us by clicking City Departments and then Civil Service.
Candidates must have been legal residents of the state for at least 30 days before the written test.
If appointed, applicants must become residents of Auburn within 60 days.
A $15 fee is required for each test and must accompany the application.
Proof of education must also be included in the application.
