Auburn Memorial Hospital continued its strong financial performance in September, the hospital reported Wednesday.
AMH posted an operating gain of $200,000 in September, compared with a loss of $219,000 in the same month in 2007. Hospital officials had budgeted for a $54,000 loss this year.
Through the year's first nine months, AMH has now realized an operating profit of $2.2 million, up from $543,000 at the same point in 2007. The hospital had been budgeting for a gain of $1.4 million through the end of September.
The numbers were reported to the AMH Board of Trustees at its meeting Wednesday.
