ALBANY -- Police are investigating the shooting of a University at Albany student.
Albany Police Chief James Tuffey says the young man was walking alone on an off-campus street when he was shot in the head around 11:20 p.m. Monday.
Police have blocked off a section of the street early Tuesday morning as they investigate the shooting.
Investigators say they're still looking for a motive and no arrests have been made.
The victim's name, age and hometown haven't been released, but Tuffey says he's from downstate New York.
A police spokesman says the man is on life support at Albany Medical Center.
