A boil-water advisory for Aurelius' water district #3 has been lifted after a coliform bacteria test came back negative, according to a press release from the Cayuga County Health Department.
Officials were worried that coliform could have gotten into the system after a waterline broke on Oct. 17. The waterline has been repaired and the negative test result means that residents did not need to boil their water before using it.
