Historian seeks Christmas stories

By Dawn Roe

Sunday, October 19, 2008 11:58 PM EDT

The residents of Port Byron are invited to share their Christmas stories to be presented in my December article. The holiday season will be upon us soon, and I thought sharing your favorite memories would be a nice way to celebrate the holiday season.
So please contact me if you have anything that you would like to share. It can be memories of baking your favorite cookies or anything special about trimming the tree. Perhaps you have a family tradition or something that you cherish about this special time of year.

Please e-mail me your story by Nov. 15th.

For those that don't have Internet access, you are welcome to leave a message for me at the number listed below.

With your help, I would like to present a tribute of Christmas at Port Byron from years past.

Dawn Roe is historian for the village of Port Byron. She can be reached at 776-8446 or e-mail beatatune@tds.net
