Treat comes up big for Warriors

Lindsey Treat scored the game's only goal as Weedsport defeated Auburn 1-0 in a field hockey game Friday.
Kaylee Napolitano supplied the assist. Weedsport's Kaitlin Hammersley earned six saves, including one on a penalty shot.

Pacing the Maroons defense was Sarah Reese, contributing three saves in goal.

The Warriors (7-9-2) await the seeding for the Section III playoffs.

BOYS SOCCER

Auburn 3, Henninger 0

Auburn's Austin Johnson and Lonnie Love both contributed one goal and one assist in the last game of the season.

Also scoring for the Maroons was Jeremy Bennett who while Kody Young posted an assist.

Adam Cadwallader recorded four saves in goal.

Auburn ends its season 4-14.
