Be aware of what your children bring home

Parents, please be more aware of what your children bring home!
My granddaughter plays junior varsity field hockey for Port Byron. A few weeks ago after practice she had all of her things in a pile while picking up the field. When she was done and went to grab her things, her iPod Touch unintentionally got left behind. When she discovered that it was not with her things, she ran back to get it and it was gone.

As you probably know, the iPod Touch is a very expensive item. My granddaughter is so very upset. The hardest thing for her to do was to tell her dad (my son) that she lost it. He bought it for her a few months ago.

He is offering a reward to anyone who turns it in, either to school or to my granddaughter Ashley Chapman, or if you know who has it, you can get a reward too!

Please, if you see your child with any expensive items, ask them where they got them, try to find out where they go. It could be them someday, losing something expensive.

I drive a school bus; I have found a lot of cell phones, video games. They get returned. There are things lost on the bus too, but someone picks them up and never returns them. So please, keep an eye on what your children bring home.
