The Weedsport boys cross country team finished second overall at the OHSL Patriot League Championships with a score of 38 at Tully, Wednesday, but won the Patriot National League with a score of 32. Cato-Meridian came in eighth overall (210 points) but fifth in the Patriot National League, while Port Byron took ninth overall (213) and fourth in the Patriot National League.
Mike Greer led the Warriors, finishing in seventh place (17:25). Also finishing for Weedsport were Andrew Smith in 11th (17:41), Johnny Bos in 14th (18:03), Zack Field in 18th (18:35), Logan Thompson in 20th (18:41) and Jason Ryan was 25th (18:57).
Greer, Smith, Bos, Field and Thompson all qualified for first team all-league status, while Ryan was second team all-league for Weedsport.
The Warriors and the Panthers will run in the OHSL Championship meet in Cato-Meridian, Wednesday.
Cato-Meridian's Joe Mattice was 26th (18:58), Tom Klaben took 28th (19:01), Karl Tausend was 50th (19:58), Chris Krupa finished 60th (20:31), Larry Treasure was 81st (21:55), TJ Nervina was 83rd (22:42) and Joe Barbado took 89th (24:49).
Christian Cobb paced Port Byron with a fourth-place finish (17:40). Also coming in strong for the Panthers were Mike Borst in 22nd (19:37), Zac Leja in 27th (20:30), Will Rice in 29th (21:10) and Tyler Wellington in 30th (21:25).
The Warriors and the Panthers will run in the OHSL Championship meet in Cato-Meridian Wednesday, while the Blue Devils travel to the Henrietta Invitational Saturday.

Sarah Sawyer led the Lakers, winning three events with an individual first place in the 200 freestyle (2:10.83), and as a leg in the 200 freestyle relay with Britton Weber, Nikki Cole and Rachael DeWitt (1:52.08) and as a leg in the 400 freestyle relay (4:04.95) with DeWitt, Gaelyn Price and Weber.
Price also finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:19.97).
Skaneateles (4-2) hosts Cazenovia for its final home meet of the season on Tuesday.
