Police should better enforce speed limits

ATTENTION ALL LAW OFFICERS OF THE ROADS: Let's generate some revenue and stop the high rate of speed on our roads. Every day I encounter many legal “kids” that have their driver's license of all ages, I might add, that drive their cars at a high rate of speed. And, it's sad, if we're doing the speed limit, they are giving us the “finger” for driving safely, since they cannot pass. Or they will pass on double solid lines.
There's been too many road accidents, due to the high rate of speed and carelessness, and people are critically/fatally getting injured. I realize that it's hard to organize law enforcement to be on the road, checking for “speeders” at all times, but during the morning rush hours, going to school, and getting home at night would help.

The “road rage” has to stop as well, some how, some way ...

I have experienced many, many drivers on Route 5; Route 34 to Weedsport, Route 31, all important routes, that I think law enforcement should position themselves somewhere, during the “rush” hour times on all three roads, and then some, to at least slow the traffic down, by issuing tickets to the careless drivers.

Getting a few speeding tickets and paying some fines to the area courts and New York state would generate some revenue that it needs. We need to think how speed can kill.

SLOW DOWN AND SAVE A LIFE!
