The Southern Cayuga boys soccer team earned a wild-card spot in the IAC Division III playoffs with an 8-0 win over Union Springs, Friday.
Bill Rejman scored two goals and had one assist to lead Southern Cayuga.
The Chiefs' Jordan Dean posted two goals, Casey Underwood contributed a goal and an assist, Conner Philip, Matt Bergenstock and Brian Littlejohn each added one goal and Arthur Burt finished with an assist.
Kevin Stockton collected five saves for Southern Cayuga in their second shutout against Union Springs this season.
“We did well,” Southern Cayuga coach Terry Underwood said. “We are missing some players -younger guys filled in and took care of business.”
Protecting the goal for the Wolves was Matt Orchard with 11 saves.
Southern Cayuga (14-2) plays in the IAC semifinals against Dryden, in Lansing Wednesday.

Margaret Roberts scored the lone goal for the Warriors while Kaitlin Hammersley had two saves.
Weedsport (5-9-2) hosts Watertown, Wednesday.
