Tiffani Chehovich qualified for the Section III playoffs in the 100 breaststroke (1:19) for the Auburn girls swimming team in their 91-80 win over Nottingham, Thursday. It is Chehovich's first time qualifying for sectionals.
Joining Chehovich in qualifying for sectionals was senior Molly Swartz in the 200 freestyle relay as anchor (27.8).
The relay team earned a first-place finish in the 200 free relay (2:00.83) with Robyn Clary, Onea Kloster and Emily Rifanburg.
Tiffany Kline, Amanda Falsey, Danielle Lang and Allison White took first in the 200 medley relay (2:15.22), while Kara Cunningham came in first in the 200 freestyle (2:10.33). Michaela Elliott set a personal best with a win in the 200 individual medley (2:38.5).
Clary came in first in the 50 freestyle (30.07) and Lang took first in the 100 butterfly (1:17.52).
Seventh-grader Brigid Cotter took first in diving for her second time participating in the event (126.6). Bethany Schroeder came in first in the 100 freestyle (1:03.29).
Auburn (6-1) hosts undefeated Fayetteville-Manlius, Wednesday.

Chris Gorman led the Blue Devils with two goals, while Lizz Winters scored a goal and assisted another. Jen Mclean had an assist, while the Blue Devils had 12 shots on goal and nine penalty corner shots.
Amanda Stone saved three shots.
Moravia (9-6) hosts Harpursville, Saturday.
