Heffernan powers Blue Devils

Maria Heffernan powered the Moravia field hockey team to a 3-1 win over Southern Springs, Tuesday. She scored two goals, while Lizz Winters added the other score.

In goal, Amanda Stone had six saves.

Southern Spring's Melana Ott scored the team's lone goal. Southern Springs had several fast breaks opportunities, but was unable to score.
