The Auburn chapter of The International Association of Healing Rooms was established in 2004, but many people are not aware of its existence. The two co-directors hope to change that. Jim and Rose Kendrick discovered this unique ministry after experiencing a crisis and miracle in their own lives.

“Our daughter had miscarried several times,” Rose recalled, “and we started praying for her. Pastor Canino (of First Love Ministry in Auburn) said we should pray that the next baby and her mother will be fine. Even though the doctors said that baby might not be, he was born healthy.”
Six months later a problem was discovered with the baby's brain. The Kendricks prayed again, and the baby was healed. At that point they wanted to help other people who needed healing. They researched different ministries and discovered the Healing Rooms.
“They had a training school in Ohio,” Rose said, “but we weren't able to go to it. Then they called us and said one of their representatives would be able to come to New York state.”
The Kendricks now run their Healing Room out of the lower floor of First Love Ministry on Van Anden Street, and they have several volunteers who help.
“Pastor Canino has been a real blessing to us,” Jim said. “We try to set up an intimate space that is private and confidential, where people can share their hearts and open up to God. This ministry is a building of your faith. It's not about us; it's about God.”
“This is a very powerful ministry,” Rose adds. “We have felt the presence of God here many times.”
Since the inception of the Auburn ministry, Rose said they have seen people healed of cancer, carpal tunnel, TM joint syndrome as well as emotional and spiritual healings.
They point out they are not trained counselors, only “volunteers representing the broad body of Christ and reflecting many denominations and churches.”
The International Association of Healing Rooms began with the ministry of a man named John G. Lake, who was born in 1870.
He started a healing ministry that brought him from his home country of Canada into Africa and finally to Spokane, Wash. There are now more than 600 Healing Rooms around the world from Australia to Zambia.
The volunteers who assist the Kendricks joined for their own personal reasons.
“I came because I wanted to hear about healing scriptures,” volunteer Gloria Swanson said. “I've grown into a Holy Ghost boldness I never had before.”
Steve Robbins, who moved to Auburn after losing his job, said, “I've learned a lot about the root causes of illness. I've seen plenty of healings.”
And Marilyn Hayes said, “For me, my life has always been about prayer. God puts you in the ministry he wants you to be in.”
The Kendricks are very appreciative of the space they are able to use, but they have dreams of having a building of their own that could be a prayer and healing center.
“We're not a church, we're a ministry,” Rose said. “It's free. We love to have people come in. One man came in intent on killing himself. We prayed for him, he recommitted himself to Jesus, and he did not kill himself. Some people come just because they want to feel God's presence.”

God is moving here and the Church that has no Holy Spirit power will go away. Get ready for it. We all ave the option to fight Satan or join him. Take your pick. "

The fruit coming from the Churches of the past and the the Churches that hold on to this powerless past is totally rotten.
This is a word from Heaven. Man made Church is full of sin and tolerates the very thing`s on Satan`s agenda. "
