Healing rooms open

The Auburn chapter of The International Association of Healing Rooms was established in 2004, but many people are not aware of its existence. The two co-directors hope to change that. Jim and Rose Kendrick discovered this unique ministry after experiencing a crisis and miracle in their own lives.

“Our daughter had miscarried several times,” Rose recalled, “and we started praying for her. Pastor Canino (of First Love Ministry in Auburn) said we should pray that the next baby and her mother will be fine. Even though the doctors said that baby might not be, he was born healthy.”

Six months later a problem was discovered with the baby's brain. The Kendricks prayed again, and the baby was healed. At that point they wanted to help other people who needed healing. They researched different ministries and discovered the Healing Rooms.
