The Jordan-Elbridge PTO has scheduled its Phase 2 building of the Ramsdell Playground for 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Ramsdell Elementary School, Chappell Street, Jordan.
Phase 2 will be an assembly of EVOS equipment. EVOS creates a “gyroscopic” world, where children 5 to 12 years of age continually balance and counterbalance their bodies against the forces of gravity.
Children will encounter a continual play experience where they move throughout the playground without touching the ground, building strength and agility as they go.
If you'd like to help volunteer, please contact Kim Rink at 255-0549.
In other news:
Informational sessions have been scheduled for proposed capital project.
To ensure residents are able to cast an informed vote on Dec. 2, the district has scheduled informational meetings regarding the project.
The next meeting is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the Jordan-Elbridge High School on Hamilton Road.
