I would like to thank the Stardust Foundation for my sponsorship in the 2008 Leadership Cayuga Class. The Stardust Foundation provided funding to the Chamber of Commerce/Leadership Cayuga program for executive directors of non-profit agencies to participate in Leadership Cayuga.
I am honored that I was chosen as one of the executive directors to participate in the 2008 Leadership Cayuga program. The 2008 class marks the 20th anniversary of the Leadership Cayuga program. For 20 years, Leadership Cayuga has been providing community members the tools and opportunities to improve their leadership skills and gain knowledge of what our community has to offer to its businesses and citizens.
Leadership Cayuga has provided me with greater understanding of our community and has provided me with additional leadership skills that I have found extremely beneficial.
I have also formed lasting professional and social relationships that I may not have had an opportunity to form without Leadership Cayuga.
I would highly encourage all businesses within Cayuga County to allow an employee to participate in Leadership Cayuga for it will be extremely beneficial to both the individual and the business.
