For the second straight week the Auburn football team was unable to build on a lead as it fell 18-12 to Corcoran, Friday.
The Maroons got off to an early 6-0 start on a one-yard run by junior Ismail Brooks.

But the Maroons gave up a score immediately to the Cougars on a 31-yard touchdown pass to Rasheid Burns in the first quarter.

The Maroons would come out in the second half and establish a lead again as Dave Jacobs connected with Matt Wild on a five-yard pass. The defense did their job as they shut the Cougars out in the second quarter.

Corcoran fought right back in the third quarter with just more than a minute left as they scored on a 13-yard run by Henry Bradley.

With the score tied in the fourth quarter, the Maroons gave up the winning score on a 10-yard run by Bradley.

Auburn (0-3) hosts Rome Free Academy, Friday.
