As of approximately noon Tuesday, 209 customers were still affected by outages caused by a wind storm that blew through the region.
Most of the remaining powerless customers were expected to have their electricity restored by early evening, according to the NYSEG release, though a few customers in isolated or heavily damaged areas were likely to be without service until midnight or longer.
However, Auburn NYSEG spokesperson Barbara Murdock said additional outage reports were coming in throughout the day.
Those customers could have to wait until today before their power is restored, Murdock said.
