Various Auburn city streets are scheduled for construction this week as part of the city's summer road program, according to officials.
Today, there will be construction on North Division Street from Wall Street to the bridge, on Wall Street from Washington Street to the 100 block, and on Seymour Street from Cross to State streets.
On Tuesday, work will take place on Seymour Street from Nelson to North Fulton streets, and on Franklin Street from Foote Street to Seward Avenue.
Wednesday's work will take place on Capitol Street from Franklin to Cayuga streets, on Cayuga Street from Capitol to Franklin streets, and on North Marvine Avenue from East Genesee to Ross streets.
All of this week's work will involve milling, after which crews will have to adjust manholes, patch the streets and install curbing and handicapped ramps, according to officials. Once that work is done, the roads will receive new asphalt tops.
The scheduled construction is dependent on weather.
