Auburn sports will never go anywhere when we have coaches that have been around forever just collecting a check. Our girls need women role models to become stronger women and more confident --- ladies it is your time to shine.
Sarah ought to be proud of America, the government gave her money for a bridge to nowhere. And where did the money go, Sarah --- the bridge was canceled?
McCain and Sarah, eight years of Bush was ridiculous. Do you really want four more of the same thing?
Obama is NOT a Muslim, he's a Christian. This is a misconception started by someone.

Humans are god-awfully wasteful and destructive. We're also, as a race, arrogant and unwilling to admit when we make mistakes, and we are in denial about the level of our own destruction.
I don't doubt there are exggerations on both sides of the global warming question, and there is no good way for us to have a proper perspective on cyclical trends in temperatures because we are such a tiny blip in the radar of earth's time, there is no denying that we are destroying our non-renewable resources at a horrifying rate.
If you haven't seen the short movie The Story of Stuff (just 20 minutes of very clear, simple statement of absolute facts on consumption and destruction and waste), chances are you haven't got the perspective needed for this discussion.
Some examples: Manufacturing in this country produces 50 units of waste for every one unit of finished proudct. That means that even if we miraculously were able to recycle 100% of what comes into our homes, we'd still be falling behind at a rate of 50-to-one. And for every 100 units of "stuff" we bring into our homes, only 1 (ONE!) unit is still in the home a year later. "

Palin's previous statements:
1. She has told the Internet news site Newsmax, "A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location. ... I'm not one, though, who would attribute it to being man-made."
2. In an interview with a Fairbanks newspaper within the last year, Palin said: "I'm not an Al Gore, doom-and-gloom environmentalist blaming the changes in our climate on human activity."
But now she says:
3. In the ABC interview broadcast Thursday and Friday, Palin said she believes that "man's activities certainly can be contributing to the issue of global warming, climate change. ... Regardless, though, of the reason for climate change, whether it's entirely, wholly caused by man's activities or is part of the cyclical nature of our planet — the warming and the cooling trends — regardless of that, John McCain and I agree that we gotta do something about it."
4. Palin said she didn't disagree with scientists that the problem can be attributed to "man's activities." In the same ABC interview, she said: "Show me where I have ever said that there's absolute proof that nothing that man has ever conducted or engaged in has had any effect or no effect on climate change. I have not said that."
Whoops! I think we just showed her proof of what she said, completely contrary to what she is now saying. Called your bluff, honey!
It's one thing to change your position, or as it is called here, to "flip-flop" -- it's another to change position then lie and claim you never said otherwise.
The falsehoods keep popping out of her, a new one daily. Her handlers didn't train her very well, now did they? The commentators have spent more time laying out clearly how she has dodged questions than on the substance of her answers -- because most of her answers didn't HAVE any substance. "

In this case, Obama was referring to McCain and Palin's CLAIM that they would bring change to Washington. The claim is a "pig" and "lipsticking" it up with fancy words doesn't change the fact that the claim is a pig. That's what he meant, plain and simple, no lines between which to read. When your opponents say stupid things daily, when they lie, mislead and purposely attempt to deceive on camera in ways that can be shown back-to-back on IMPORTANT issues, well, you don't have any need to make personal attacks -- you need only point out the absurdity of the CLAIMS. Did no one every diagram sentences in school? You know, pick out the SUBJECT of a sentence, so you know to what the predicate applies?
Obama said that the CLAIM that McCain and Palin are going to bring change is like putting lipstick on a pig.
The SUBJECT of the sentence is "claim" or in the whole phrase "claim that they are going to bring change." The verb in the sentence is "is" -- a form of the infinitive To Be, and hence it works like an equals sign in an equation -- the claim that they'll bring change is equal to putting lipstick on a pig. I have to agree -- the claim is like a pig, and these two phonies saying they'll bring it on is like putting lipstick on a false claim.
Nowhere does this sentence say or imply that either INDIVIDUAL is a pig; rather, it says that their CLAIM of bringing change is fake, is like dressing up lies as something pretty.
NAFTA and "Free Trade" are disasters that have done more damage to this country than anything, perhaps even including the war. NAFTA has been strongly supported by both Republicats and Democans. According to a widely circulated e-mail from Kilkenny, “city residents rallied to the defense of the City Librarian and against Palin’s attempt at out-and-out censorship, so Palin backed down and withdrew her termination letter.”
This is worrisome enough!.
As far as being a Buchananite, or belonging to a secessionist party, that concerns me not. What IS relevant, is that this woman is another "Bushy"--just 4 more years of the same policies, the same religious ignorance being put into policy, and the same, hardheaded, stubborn, uncompromising and vindictive attitude which has paralyzed government in Washington for the last 8 years. And worst of all--MORE WAR, MORE WASTED LIVES AND MONEY
More tax breaks for the Rich--the Middle Class be damned. McCain's tax breaks would cost an estimated $417 billion compared to Barack's $360 billion. Bottom line, Chris, is that this woman is STILL manifestly unfit to stand behind a 72-year-old man in the White House and be trusted with the faet of this nation. And as soon as this election gets back to being about issues and not personality as the Republican spokesman recently said it was (how about THAT for Republican priorities?!), the sooner we will start debunking what's important. I'm not going to take the time to pick apart your entire WSJ post, but this is plainly BS. She killed the project ONLY after it was evident that she could NOT get FULL funding from Congress for a bridge that would go VASTLY over budget, and was becoming a POLITICAL LIABILITY.
Bottom line - she is lying!!!!!!!!!!!
She is a real porker, the bridge to nowhere aside. Her record speaks for itself. Look it up. "

"But, you know, when you've been taking all these earmarks when it's convenient, and then suddenly you're the champion anti-earmark person, that's not change. Come on! I mean, words mean something, you can't just make stuff up." -- Barack Obama, Sept. 6, 2008
Mrs. Palin used her veto pen to slash more local projects than any other governor in the state's history. She cut nearly 10% of Alaska's budget this year, saving state residents $268 million. This included vetoing a $30,000 van for Campfire USA and $200,000 for a tennis court irrigation system. She succinctly justified these cuts by saying they were "not a state responsibility."
Meanwhile in Washington, Mr. Obama voted for numerous wasteful earmarks last year, including: $12 million for bicycle paths, $450,000 for the International Peace Museum, $500,000 for a baseball stadium and $392,000 for a visitor's center in Louisiana.
Mrs. Palin cut Alaska's federal earmark requests in half last year, one of the strongest moves against earmarks by any governor. It took real leadership to buck Alaska's decades-long earmark addiction.
Mr. Obama delivered over $100 million in earmarks to Illinois last year and has requested nearly a billion dollars in pet projects since 2005. His running mate, Joe Biden, is still indulging in earmarks, securing over $90 million worth this year.
Mrs. Palin also killed the infamous Bridge to Nowhere in her own state. Yes, she once supported the project: But after witnessing the problems created by earmarks for her state and for the nation's budget, she did what others like me have done: She changed her position and saved taxpayers millions. Even the Alaska Democratic Party credits her with killing the bridge.
When the Senate had its chance to stop the Bridge to Nowhere and transfer the money to Katrina rebuilding, Messrs. Obama and Biden voted for the $223 million earmark, siding with the old boys' club in the Senate. And to date, they still have not publicly renounced their support for the infamous earmark.

Once again 2Cents...you went back on your dumb-dumb pills, and back to saying STUPID, IGNORANT comments. Middle / High School coaches get paid SQUAT compared to the amount of time they put in. Have you ever coached a HS or Middle School Sport? Well I have, and let me tell you something....for 15-20 hrs / week, every week, for 2-3 months, and traveling all over the place for games (and on weekends mind you) and only walking away with anywhere from $700-$1000....that amounts to PEANUTS! And most coaches coach for the love of the sport, not to just collect a check because there are tons of other things to do with your free time that can pay bigger dividends. Secondly, a coach who can engage his kids day in and day out and have them work their hardest is not an easy thing to do, especially today with the way kids are (which are alot more lazier than kids 10-20 years ago at least). The most important thing is that kids are getting something out of the experience and that they are enjoying themselves enough to continue playing the sport. Otherwise, get rid of the coach. "
