An Auburn teenager pleaded not guilty in Cayuga County Court Thursday to charges that he sexually abused a 15-year-old girl.
Joshua Anderson, 16, of 5535 Mobbs Road, Auburn, is charged with three counts of felony sex abuse with contact through forcible compulsion and one count of misdemeanor forcible touching.

The victim accused Anderson of forcing himself on her while he was visiting her home on May 11.

Cayuga County District Attorney Jon Budelmann said Anderson, who weighs 250 pounds, and is 6-feet, 6-inches tall, allegedly used his size to pin the girl onto her bed.

Anderson had until 5 p.m. Thursday to raise $1,000 for bail, or he would have to report to the Cayuga County Jail.

Cayuga County Judge Thomas Leone also issued an order of protection for the alleged victim.

Also in court:

• An Auburn man received a prison sentence of one to three years for violating the terms of his probation.

Daniel Lisano, 20, of 4 Morris St., Auburn, was originally sentenced to five years of probation with the first six months spent in the Cayuga County Jail after he pleaded guilty fourth-degree felony grand larceny on Jan. 10. Lisano admitted that he and his co-defendant, Shannon Terwilliger, 27, of 310 Clark St., Auburn, broke into an apartment and stole a plasma screen TV.

Under the terms of his probation, Lisano was supposed to make restitution, receive an alcohol evaluation and enter a rehabilitation facility. In Thursday's court session, Lisano admitted had made no effort to comply with the terms.

Lisano will receive a shock camp recommendation, which could make him eligible for an early release if he completes the program.

• A local man faces five years in prison with five years post-release supervision after he pleaded guilty to felony burglary.

Brian Syrell, 20, of 20 Cady St., Auburn, admitted that he stole a video game system and some games from a Bundy Avenue residence on April 11.

Syrell also admitted that he was a second felony offender who was convicted of a burglary in 2007.

Syrell is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 30.

• Instead of receiving time already served, a local man was sentenced to six months in the Cayuga County Jail with five years probation for felony burglary.

Cayuga County Judge Thomas Leone told Clarence Moore, 27, of 12 Blauvelt Drive, Port Byron, that he saw no reason to deviate from the maximum agreed upon sentence due to Moore's lengthy criminal history. Moore, who pleaded guilty on July 17 to burglarizing his neighbor's home, has had seven petit convictions since 1998.

An order of protection was issued for the neighbor and Moore will also have to pay $865 in restitution.

• A man who was recorded by security camera burglarizing a Fleming gas station was sentenced to five years probation with the first six months to be spent in the county jail.

Eugene Muntz, 31, of 27 Orchard St., Auburn, will also have to pay $785 in restitution for cash and cigarettes that he took during the felony burglary.

" Innocent until proven guilty? Not in Auburn. Did you have to put his name and address in the paper? He's just a kid. Who knows maybe the girl is lying... "
