It's seven for seven at Auburn Memorial Hospital this year.
Despite a budget that was predicting a monthly loss, AMH reported an operational gain of $69,000 for July.

That's significantly better than the $53,000 loss that had been budgeted, as well as the $249,000 loss the hospital experienced in July 2007.

AMH has posted profits every month of 2008 so far. Historically, July is one of the lowest patient volume months of the year.

For the year to date, operating gains have reached $1.8 million, compared with $327,000 a year ago.

Going into the year, the hospital was budgeting for a $1.3 million gain through the first seven months.

The 99-bed hospital reported its latest figures following its monthly board of trustees meeting held Wednesday morning.

Earlier this summer, the hospital emerged from a Chapter 11 bankruptcy process that started in April 2007.
