BUFFALO - Police in Buffalo are investigating the death of a woman and her boyfriend who were found shot in their home.
Police spokesman Michael DeGeorge says a relative of one of the victims called 911 between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Sunday to ask police to check on them. Officers entered the house on the city's north side and found the bodies a 25-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man.
Autopsies are planned for the couple, whose names weren't released.
DeGeorge says investigators don't have a motive for the double slaying at this time. The Buffalo News reports that police sources believe the couple likely either knew their killers or were their intended targets.
Neighbors say the couple lived at the rented house for about a year along with a 3-or-4-year-old boy.
