I promised myself I would never write on this subject again, but outside of work I don't have a lot going on right now, so I thought I would give it another try.
I would love to know why The Citizen continues to indulge that pseudo-Christian crybaby Murray Lynch by printing his regular olio of disjointed sentences and utter nonsense that he believes to be a letter to the editor? Or more to the point, who does this clown think he is? In what way is he qualified to lecture your readers about anything?
One of his favorite subjects to whine about is bad drivers. I can almost promise you that I have driven more miles in reverse than he has driven his whole life in any direction. Murray the driving instructor should try pushing a 65-foot, 80,000-pound “motor vehicle” around New York, Boston, Philadelphia or D.C. for 10 hours a day if he wants to see how badly people can behave behind the wheel. Yeah, there are bad drivers out there. Stop the presses. Now get over it.
Lynch's yearning for the Great Society, however, shows his true colors: His desire to sit on his backside and let the government fix all in this world that is making his existence on this planet such a miserable experience. As if it could. We are Americans and this country was founded with and because of the knowledge that life just doesn't work that way.

Are you still talking about the Revolutionary War?!?!
Don't try to sell me that idea that WWI, II, Korea, Viet Nam, Desert Storm, or the current Cheney War-for-Profit had anything to do with securing our right to free speech!!!!????
I am SOOOOO SICK of hearing that nationalistic, hyper-patriotic crrAAP! "

Murrays letters are his opinion, you can either take it or leave it--you do have choices!
Murray also enjoys using his freedom of speech, which you, Matthew also are using your freedom...
isn't this a great country?!!! "

You're wrong about Murray, however. Murray has a good heart, and knows what it means "to be Christian". He's just dismayed that so many other people who claim to be so act in ways that are not "Christian".
In all seriousness, I find his letters a little annoying in their frequency, but 90% spot-on in what the say and in how he interprets his religion.
It's his religion I don't agree with... "
