Moravia hosts British soccer camp
MORAVIA - Baseball is America's pasttime and soccer is England's. Challenger Sports hopes that soccer becomes one of America's favorites as well. Challenger Sports employs more than 600 European coaches to tour America.
This camp is just one of 1,500 that Challenger Sports are running throughout the Uninted States and Canada for about 65,000 boys and girls of all ages.
The coaching staff teaches age appropriate soccer skills along with lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership, discussing how these relate not only to the sport but also to other aspects of life such as family and school. Two of the coaches, Callum Murphy and Martin Cumberland, are currently in Moravia running a soccer fall clinic at Fillmore Glen State Park throughout the week.
