Teachers union wants

too much from taxpayers
Parasites have a sense of how much they can take from their host without killing it. The leaders of the teacher's union on the other hand ...

The reason we are having so much trouble funding education is simply that it is a socialist program with no cost-containing competition. In an age when information on anything and everything is free and readily available, we are paying inordinate amounts for simple primary education. The reason for this being that unscrupulous groups in Albany latched onto the school system as a great place to ply their wares and services (mandates), skim union dues, and in general raid the public purse. And the best part is “it's for the kids.” Brilliant!

The problem now is that the host isn't doing too well and the parasite refuses to curb its voracious appetite. The disregard that is being shown by the Albany millionaires clubs toward the lowly taxpayer is beyond callous. It's stupid. Even an intestinal malady knows enough to back off when its source of sustenance is faltering.

Oh well, it's for the KID$ (Kickbacks In Disguise).

" " teacher1, This may shock you, when I was in school. There was 30- 32 kids in each classroom and No teacher aids. One principal for both the high school and middle school. He had an assistant and a secretary. Guess what We still learned "

dan w, you didn't learn much, because your grammar and spelling are atrocious. "

" I hope none of you fools belong to a union. If you had the opportunity to get a better contract you would do it in a heartbeat. The problem is the employer giving in to demands that they can't afford. Besides the fact that teachers should be well paid and you cheapskates should not deny them what they earn. Some of the outlandish benefits should be reined in. But blame the school board and administrators for the problem not the union. "

" I find it incredibly disturbing that the people of Southern Cayuga Central School district actually voted this man onto the school board. What is wrong with all of you? Do you want your children to attend a school that has 40 students in a class, no phys. ed, music or art and no extracurricular activities? If Joe Lonsky has his way, this is how SC will be run. Is that what you really want for your children? "
