An Aug. 8, the 18th Memorial Golf Tournament for the Patrick R. Penafeather Scholarship Fund of Niagara University was held at Lakeview Country Club.

This year five students from the Auburn area received monetary awards to help defray the cost of a college education. The recipients are Ashley Cottrell, Margaret Hoercher, Nick Rusinko, Mindy Valenti and Jamie Walter. Congratulations to each of you.

We would like to thank Shon Morrissey, chairman, for his endless dedication to this wonderful tournament. A special thank you to our committee members, sponsors, golfers, hot dog cookers, businesses, family, friends and community.

The unique spirit of this tournament would not be possible without each and every one of you!
