Open Letter to our Congressional Delegation: On the opening day of the Olympics, Georgian President Saakashvili broke an agreed upon two-week truce with South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Georgia is and has been opposed to the democratic process by which peoples have the right to self-determination. How can you trust a man who dishonors agreements, and in a surprise attack overruns the tiny nations, where incidentally Russian peacekeepers were stationed. What in the world are we doing materially supporting these kinds of countries? France brokered a cease fire between Georgia and Russia. Yet, Bush when he returned from China was persuaded by the New World Order advisors to confront Russia under the guise of sending humanitarian aid by sending naval vessels and cargo planes to Georgia. We already have 1,500 U.S. troops stationed in Georgia.
