Golfers raise scholarship funds in memory of friend
ELBRIDGE - Golfers on Saturday raised money for student scholarships at the Millstone Golf Course in Elbridge.
The inaugural Guad's Memorial Golf Tournament was created as a way to memorialize Aaron Guadagnolo, who was killed in a motorcycle accident May 14. The event was organized by a group of Aaron's friends as well as his colleagues from the fire department, said Aaron's girlfriend Malinda Chuff.
Although Aaron was not a big golfer, this was a good way to get everyone in the community together, said friend Carolyn Rolince.
