UPDATE: Food back, bathrooms open at Port Byron Thruway stop

Restaurant and restroom service at the Port Byron rest stop are available again, the state Thruway Authority announced Thursday evening.

The authority earlier in the day said a problem with the sprinkler system forced a tempory closure of the facilities. Fuel service was not affected.
