Penn Yan tractor accident kills girl

Penn Yan A 3-year-old girl is dead after a tractor accident on a Finger Lakes farm.
Sheriff's deputies in Yates County say Rosene Reiff was standing behind a tractor when a youth doing chores started the vehicle and it accidentally jumped into reverse and backed over the girl.

She later died at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Penn Yan.

The accident occurred Saturday night at a farm in Penn Yan, 45 miles southeast of Rochester.
