A local man faces six months in the Cayuga County Jail with five years probation after he pleaded guilty in Cayuga County Court to raping a 14-year-old minor and subjecting her to sexual contact on two seperate occasion.

Corey Masson, 22, 561 Turnpike Road, Cayuga, was arrested on Jan. 30 for third-degree criminal sex act in Auburn nearly six months after he was arrested for statutory rape in Aurelius on July 1. Both crimes are felonies.

Masson will also have to register as a sexual offender after he is sentenced on Sept. 16.
