Hunter Charles led the Auburn Little League 10- and 11-year-old All-Stars to a 7-4 win over Northern Cayuga.
Charles started the game and earned the win as he went four innings and allowed just two hits. Kevin DiCola came in to earn the save. He tossed two innings and fanned six batters.
“It was a very Mariano Rivera type outing,” Auburn coach Mike Charles said. “He did a great job.”
Trenton Ward led the offense with two hits, but Jack Burgmaster's two-run triple in the fourth inning sealed the deal. Mikey Charles and Matt Netti both roped singles.
“It was a great effort by our boys,” Mike Charles said. “Northern Cayuga is a great team. We played great defense and had timely hititng.”
Auburn travels to Elmira to play in the Sectional Tournament Saturday.

Tru-Cut Technology Orioles 16, NYSCOBA Blue Jays 7
Hunter Duger, Gregory Baumes, Matthew Fritz, Kaleb Fasce and Zach Stanton dominated the infield defense while Trenton Quinn, Emma Donovan, Dakota Lupien and Paige Lincoln controlled the outfield for the Orioles.
Lea Van Ostrand, Clay Van Ostrand, Bradley Lawrence and Daniel Cornelius led the Orioles at the plate with two RBIs each and Kaellyn Stanton added an RBI.
The Blue Jays were led by Ross Burgmaster who belted two hits and performed well on defense. Liam Schuttz hit a home run, Steven Osbourn contributed three hits, Will Coleman collected two hits and Ally Bolak added one hit.
