Auburn Enlarged City School District does not need to pay its superintendent $160,000 plus salary to train people to be trustees.

We could hire three school teachers for that kind of money.

We need to get rid of this state-mandated position, as each district does not need one. We only need two superintendents to run the county school system and let the principal run his own school.

I still say we do not need increases in our school budget every year of 5-10-15 percent.

They need to learn to decrease their expenses the same as others in business in the district and still have a good program for the students.

The cost per student in New York state is much higher than any other state in the country.

They cannot seem to take “no” for an answer.

The increase over last year's budget is almost 5 percent, debt service almost 10 percent.
