The Auburn Police Department is searching for a man who robbed the occupants of a Cayuga Street apartment at gun point Sunday afternoon.
Police said a 6 foot tall Hispanic man weighing nearly 160 pounds, with shoulder length dreadlocks rolled tight to the scalp and a possible tattoo on his upper back, broke into the apartment at 12:46 p.m. and tied the occupants up before stealing cash and property.

Police believe the man may be driving an older model silver or gray Ford Crown Victoria, or a similar car, with out-of-state license plates.

Anyone with information is urged to call police at 253-3235 or Detective William Gleason at 258-9880. Callers may remain anonymous.
