Who is to say they are? As I said before, you can discount ALL the editorial content if you want. Personally, I listen to as much as I can before I make up my mind. One thing is irrefutable, and that is that they exist. I cannot deny what I have seen with my own two eyes. What their makeup is and what they are for is all speculation at this point and is another matter entirely - a point which I have been absolutely clear on yet you and many others here continually seem to miss. I'm still shaking my head in amazement over that! If you wonder why I question people's reading comprehension here, this is a perfect example.

I am glad for you that you do not live in fear. What people need to find out is EXACTLY what it is that they ARE up to.
I have mentioned this before but perhaps you missed it - Congressional Investigations in the 70's uncovered aerial spraying by the military decades ago in numerous experiments. One in particular that I somewhat recall the details of was the biological experiment in San Francisco where at least one person died and numerous others were seriously sickened. This is not tin foil hat stuff - it is on the historical record. Nothing anyone says here can change that, though I realize they're likely to anyhow.
I don't know what they are doing with this stuff now, all I know is that they are spraying something, many things most likely, and everyone should be concerned and not dismiss this as being conspiracy nonsense.
Remember - Contrails are only created at 30K' and above. Anything below cannot be a contrail. When you see jets (as I have) criss-crossing the sky at well under 30k' and leaving "stuff" behind which lingers for sometimes hours - these are NOT contrails. Contrails do not disperse into cloudlike formations - they just disperse, and rapidly at that.
Now, if anyone wants to debate what I have brought up here, fine. Just make sure you have read my posts CAREFULLY and understand my position before going off half-cocked. Many of you have a serious tendency to misinterpret or read into things stuff that doesn't exist. If you want to resort to ad hominem attacks, don't bother. What is hogwash? CONtrails vs CHEMtrails - do you even know the difference? I suspect not. Contrails are CONDENSATION trails. Chemtrails are CHEMICAL trails (which could be any concoction of one or more elements), but some of these trails are likely to be bacteriological in nature, and hence sometimes are inapproprately named. We have actually been sprayed on for decades now - this is nothing new. Given your handle NL, I would think you should know something about this subject.
Are you even aware that contrails dissipate typically within 30 seconds to a minute, or less, and are not generated at all until hitting 30k'? Did you watch the video links? When you see trails at less than 30k' - these are NOT contrails. Contrails do not spread out or linger for sometimes hours. Get it? No, I thought not.
You should be more specific as to what you claim has been debunked. Chemtrails DO exist, I know what I have seen with my own eyes as have hundreds of thousands of others, if not millions, who look up to the sky once in a while. And thanks to youtube, you do not even have to have witneseed them yourself personally - you can simply watch a few of the videos others have created to see them. It does not mean you have to agree with any of the videos' editorial content, if any.
Just because the government typically denies them doesn't mean they do not exist - if you cannot trust your own eyes then perhaps you should see an optician or optometrist.

dd -- I once read that there are almost no African-Americans who do not have at least a little white blood in them -- mostly only those whose family came here recently, and certainly since after the Civil War. Obama's family fits that category, but his mom was white, so he joins the ranks of most African Americans whose families came here as a result of slavery.
The point is, in this country we generally consider a person "African-American" if they have any black in them at all. That could be a touchy and debatable point, but when a person self-identifies as African-American and is at least half African, why make a fuss?
Personally, in general, I prefer the candidate with less experience -- it might mean they are less hooked into the corruption. In this case, Obama is a dark horse (no pun intended) -- he came out of nowhere, which makes him rather suspicious.
