Auburn Memorial Hospital has added six new physicians to its staff.
In radiology, David Flannagan, MD, is a State University of New York at Buffalo and SUNY Upstate Medical Center graduate with a Pennsylvania State University Medical Center residency in diagnostic radiology. He is a University of Rochester Medical Center fellow and member of American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, New York State Radiologic Society, Nuclear Medicine and Non-interventional Angiography.
In anesthesiology, Ewa Lew, MD is a Medical Academy of Gdansk, Poland, graduate with an internship and anesthesia residency at the State Hospital of Rzeszow, Poland, medical and anesthesia residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, and regional anesthesia fellowship at St. Luke's, Roosevelt Hospital Center.
In Ob-Gyn, Allison Loi, MD, a University of Rochester graduate, was a visiting student at the University of London. The U of R School of Medicine and Dentistry conferred her MD. She did her residency in at the U of R Medical Center. She is an American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology junior fellow, and an American Medical Association member.
In psychiatry, Pemala Pradhan, MD, is a St. Joseph's College, Djarleen, India, graduate. At the Bihar Medical College of Darbhanga, India, she completed her M.B.B.S., post-graduate studies in OB-GYN, internship and residency. She is the former Clinical Director and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Community General Hospital. She is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the SUNY Health Science Center and has a private practice.
In emergency medicine, Matthew Sarsfield, MD, is a SUNY Canton and St. Lawrence University graduate, with an MD degree and residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Also in emergency medicine, Katherine Schumacher, MD, is a Northern Arizona University graduate and earned her Emergency Medical Technician certification from Coconino Community College of Flagstaff, Ariz. She earned her Osteopathic Medicine doctorate from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
