Cody Ladisair led Auburn to a 6-4 win over Geneva, crowning them District 5 Little League 12-year-old champions on Thursday. Ladisair went 5 1-3 innings and allowed just five hits and one run.
Jake Cooney finished the game off and earned the save in 2-3 innings of work.
Auburn scored five of its six runs in the first inning while the other run came in the third.
Conor Herr and Mike Gentile both finished with two hits while Herr picked up a double and two RBIs.
Ryan Ringwood joined Herr with two RBIs and had a double. Gentile picked up the other RBI for Auburn. Matt Brooks, Juan Rizzo, Kevin Gauthier, Ladisair and Cooney had one hit apiece.
