Mike Charles threw a complete game two-hitter as Bouley's shut out Angelo's 7-0 in an Auburn Little League playoff game Saturday.
Charles struck out 13 batters. Nick Petrosino led the offense with three hits while Trenton Ward and Charles collected two hits apiece.
Kevin DiCola threw five innings for Angelo's with Trent Valentino coming in to pitch the sixth. DiCola and Steve Pelc paced Angelo's at the plate.
Stanton Automatics 11, Auburn Correctional Facility 4
Tommy Herbert threw five strikeouts and Colin Mitchell fanned four for Stanton. Herbert also led at the plate, earning three hits and three RBIs, Malcom Kellogg and Enrique Torres both collected two hits and one RBI while Stephen Giannotta, Jake O'Hearn, Chris Newert, Cody Mitchell and Andrew Merrill all chipped in with one hit.
Kiernan Major, Colin Mitchell and Newert led Stanton's defense.
Jake Burgamaster led Auburn Correctional Facility along with Nick McQueeny who both belted two hits.
Pitching for ACF was Nate Evangelista who posted three strikeouts, Zack Siracusa added one strikeout and Mark Bachman tallied two strikeouts.
Auburn 5, Northern Cayuga 4
Conor Herr allowed no hits in three innings and Jake Cooney earned the win for Auburn.
Matt Brooks was 2-for-4, Mike Foltz was 3-for-5 (double), Herr had a three-run homer, Ryan Ringwood was 2-for-2 and scored the winning run and John Rizzo had an RBI double.
PONY LEAGUE
Kayn Design 17, Michael's and Smolak 7
Trent Jackson and Casey Komenecky paced Kayn Design with three hits each and four RBIs to win in the first round of the Auburn Pony League playoffs. Brian Francecelli also chipped in with a home run and a single. Alex Herring was outstanding on the mound in relief for Kayn.
Briley Lazio earned two hits for Michael's. Richard McConnell played well on both offense and defense.
Weaver Machine and Tool 8, Bellerdine Investigations 5
Weaver Machine and Tool rallied from a 5-1 deficit to defeat Bellerdine in the second round of the playoffs.
Terry Daniels, Alex Burgmaster, David Watkins and Stephen Bennett pitched for Weaver. At the plate, Liam Cuddy scored the tying run, Burmaster and Bennett each belted a triple and Rashaun Hollis collected two hits.
Pitching for Bellerdine was Michael Biata and Josh Frost. Pacing Bellerdine's offense, Biata earned two doubles and Alex Casper added two hits.
BABE RUTH
Auburn Fire Department 12, Auburn Police Department 11
Leading Auburn Fire was Zachary Clark with a walk-off double in the bottom of the eighth to top off the three doubles Clark contributed while Mike Westmiller added two hits.
Nate Donch, Matt Covich and Tim Smith worked together on the mound for the win. Jared Humphrey and Josh Sorenson pitched for Auburn Police while Matt Nolan and Pete Sigona collected two hits apiece.
