Fireworks at Emerson Park still on

The fireworks show and Syracuse Symphony Orchestra concert for tonight at Emerson Park is still taking place.

Cayuga County Parks and Trails Director Gary Duckett said weather reports for later tonight look favorable for having the show as planned, despite the rains that have been falling today.

The symphony concert starts at 8 p.m., with fireworks likely starting between 9:30 and 10 p.m., depending on when it becomes dark enough.
