Admitted thief faces prison

AUBURN - A local man faces 1.5 to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty in Cayuga County Court Tuesday to stealing $1,500 in cash from the office of a Citgo convenience store located at 50 Owasco St., Auburn, on Nov. 26, 2007.
Robert Johnson, 37, of 48 Elizabeth Street, Auburn, will be ordered to make full restitution when he is sentenced on Aug. 12.

Johnson also admitted that this was his third felony conviction.

Johnson was previously convicted of second-degree attempted assault in1999, and second-degree burglary in 1993.
