Evan Crawford, Jay Monti and Robert Bell combined to allow one run while scattering four hits as the Auburn Doubledays won its third straight game, 4-1, over Mahoning Valley Sunday.
Monti earned the win while Bell pitched the final two innings for the save.
The three pitchers combined for eight strikeouts.
The Doubledays (9-4) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning on an Adam Amar RBI double and a Brian Van Kirk sacrifice fly.
Bartolo Nicolas and David Cooper drove in the other two runs. The win begins a six-game road swing for the Doubledays, who play tonight at 7 p.m. against the Scrappers.
