Work to repair the Seneca River bridge on the state Thruway west of the Weedsport exit will close an eastbound lane through 10 p.m. Monday, the state Thruway Authority reported.

The eastbound driving lane will be closed, while the passing lane will stay open. Motorists may experience minor delays as vehicles merge into the single lane.

The work is taking place on a bridge about 10 miles west of Interchange 40.
