Thanks for professionalism, help with adoption ad

Saturday, June 28, 2008 11:36 PM EDT

I would like to take this opportunity to commend your classified manager, Tom Kirkwood, for his help in placing an ad for our husky/chow to be adopted to a good country home. He was professional as well as understanding and listened to what I wanted to say in the ad, with helpful hints to make the adoption less painful for us, as we just couldn't keep him anymore due to illness and his energetic nature. We had a wonderful response and now he is in a good country home.
Tom even followed up with a phone call to see if we had found him a home. In this day and age, it is rare to see such kindness as well as professionalism go hand in hand.

I want to thank Tom for all his help in this matter and I know he will continue the good work.

" This is wonderful! It is never easy to let your pets go but you did the right thing and Tom sounds like a great guy helping you. "
