Bellerdine edges Fire Department

Michael Biata, Josh Frost, Adrian Lamanna and Kenny Sargent combined for the win as Bellerdine topped Auburn Fire Department 11-10 in Pony League baseball Friday.
At the plate for Bellerdine, Gavin Ellis singled, doubled and had two RBIs, Austin Fraher earned a single and two RBIs, Alex Casper contributed two singles and Evan Ryan and Frost each added hits.

Lamanna played strong defensively for the Bellerdine squad , assisting on several put-outs including one at third base to stop a rally.

Pitching for Auburn Fire Department was Ben Pinchak, Anthony Torres and Cole Dragone.

Pacing Auburn Fire offensively was Austin Duger who recorded two triples, five RBIs and scored two runs. Torres, Pinchak and Dragone also added singles.

Auburn Credit Union 21, Dunkin Donuts 3

It was a combined effort on the mound for Auburn Credit Union, with Michael Jakaub, Rayn Scott and David Stillman throwing for the win.

Leading Auburn Credit Union at the plate was Nicholas Adams with three hits including a home run while Nicholas Rink posted one run.

Dominic DiFabio performed well defensively fin the win.

BOYS AND GIRLS LEAGUE

Byrn Trophy and Sports Padres 16, New Beginning Home Care Pirates 14

Kyle Jordan and Gianna Gabally each belted three hits to lead the Padres.

Performing defensively for the Padres was Nicholas Schattinger and Christopher Rusin.

With three hits each, Cassandra Breault, Cutter Johnson, Brian Love Jr. and Cassey Ryan paced the Pirates.

Jerry White and Sydney Fallot both played well on the Pirates' defense.

NYSCOBA Blue Jays 10, Empire Hardware Dodgers 5

Leading the Blue Jays at the plate was Miranda Reilly, Natalie Ryan and Jack Pidlypchak who each contributed three hits while Jacob Coleman and Emma Nolan both hit a double.

Defensively for the Blue Jays, Liam Schultz had two double plays and Ross Burgmaster and Kurt Reilly also performed well.

Pacing the Dodgers was Laura McConnell, Gabrielle McGinn and Abigale Lentini who each recorded two hits.

Jeffrey Shutter and Lucas Parker both played well on defense for the Dodgers.

LITTLE LEAGUE

Stanton Auto 16, Auburn Police Department 4

On the mound for Stanton Auto was Tommy Herbert who threw five strikeouts and Andrew Merrill recorded four strikeouts.

Malcom Kellog belted three hits and three RBIs, Eric Gatewood earned three hits and two RBIs, Stephen Giannotta and Cody Mitchell each added two hits and two RBIs and Enrique Torres finished with two hits and three RBIs.

Pacing Auburn Police Department was Connor Finizio who hit a double and two RBIs while recording two strikeouts on the mound.

Max Hogan and Brandon Noga also threw two strikeouts apiece.
