Batters swing Byrn's Trophy , Sports Padres to win

The Byrn's Trophy and Sports Padres beat the Children's Health Specialists Marlins, 15-12 in the Auburn Boy's and Girls League.
Brian Love Jr., Jerry White and Noah Wojnar each had multiple hits to lead the Padres.

Joe Sabine and Jack Conty both played well defensively for the Padres.

Pacing the Marlins was Justin Kopec belting a double and Ethan Rielly contributing multiple hits.

Performing defensively for the Marlins was Kaleb Cook.

First Niagara Rangers 18, Vision Care Associates 16

Cody Musso and Noah Marr led the Rangers with two hits each and Sadie Coleman recorded one hit.

Performing well defensively for the Rangers was Hailey Short and Trevor Hesse.

Pacing the Vision Care Associates was Meg Gianotta and Kacie Hulik who each belted three hits.

Playing good defense for Vision Care was Madison Martin, Noah Martin and Haylee Quinton.

Tru-Cut Technology Orioles 22, Daddabbo's Pizza Indians 15

Hunter Duger made the final three defensive outs including an unassisted double play to stop the charging Indians.

Trenton Quinn and Bradley Lawrence played exceptional outfield to keep runners from advancing. Matthew Fritz, Kaelyn Stanton, Kaleb Fasce and Leah Van Ostrand played great infield defense. Zach Stanton led the Orioles' offense with four RBIs, Gregory Baumes and Paige Lincoln each had two RBIs, Emma Donovan and Mathew Mosher each had one RBI and Clay Van Ostrand and Dakota Lupien each posted two hits.

The Indians were paced by Giovanni Pedigras and Hayden Dreschler with three hits each and solid defense, Isabella Amoia and Andrew Boglione each belted out two hits.

PONY LEAGUE

Nucor 13, Gush Orthodontics 0

Parker Hogan ripped a triple and a single while Kevin Merrill chipped in two singles to lead Nucor. Tyler Daddabbo and Adam Lupo added two hits apiece and Nick Murry belted a home run for Nucor.

Murray, Merrill and Dan Nolan combined on the mound to hold Gush to five hits and nine strikeouts. Merrill stopped a rally in the third inning by striking out three straight batters with the bases loaded.

Pitching for Gush was Bridget Moore and Lucas Maffei. Maffei also ripped two hits for Gush and Moore played a solid defense.
